Terms of Use

Effective August 13, 2026 · Last updated August 13, 2026

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Stoveside. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. About Stoveside

Stoveside is a social platform for sharing food moments, discovering recipes, communicating with other members, and participating in one-to-one cooking sessions. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details confidential, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. One person may maintain one account unless we approve otherwise.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, recipes, text, and other content you submit. You grant Stoveside a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

4. Respectful use

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse another member's personal information. Do not upload unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, or dangerous content. We may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these terms or our Community Guidelines.

5. Sessions and digital credits

Some recipes and cooking sessions may require digital credits or an in-app purchase. Prices and availability are shown before confirmation. Purchases are processed by the relevant app store and are subject to its terms. Credits are for use within Stoveside, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not redeemable for cash unless required by law. Session hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listing; Stoveside does not guarantee a particular outcome.

6. Safety and reporting

Use good judgment when communicating or meeting anyone. Report concerns through the in-app reporting tools. Stoveside may investigate reports, preserve evidence, and take action to protect members and the service.

7. Disclaimers

The service and user content are provided on an “as available” basis. Cooking involves inherent risks; follow food-safety guidance and seek professional advice for allergies or medical conditions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stoveside is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.

8. Account closure

You may stop using Stoveside at any time. We may suspend or close an account for violations, legal requirements, security concerns, or prolonged inactivity. Provisions that should survive closure, including content licenses and limitations of liability, will remain in effect.
